The philosophy of holiwork - to interlink the world of work to the world of recreation - is 100% met by a lessor of a private cottage, located near a tiny village in Upper Austria. The House called "In der Winten" promises to be an idyllic place for Wellness & Work. Actually I have no idea if the technical infrastracture is sufficient for professional ework. However, the slogan on the website is pure holiwork:

It is not always possible to integrate leisure and work. But what seems to be more obvious than to carry out work required at places we associate with relexation and holidays. The room in the tower is perfectly located for your work - a wide view on the surrounding fields and plenty of space for thinking and ideas!

LA CLAUSTRA - meet, reflect & communicate at 2000m

High above the clouds, deep in the mountain - this is the slogan of LA CLAUSTRA, the unique hotel for seminars and individual workers situated at 2´050 m AMSL, in the heart of the Swiss Alps on the San Gottardo pass. La Claustra srang from the vision of artist and sociolgist Jean Odermatt. Over a period of five years this former artillery fortress was transformed in some kind of post-modern monestry, a laboratory of reflection, communication and creative work. Today´s infrastructure seems to be delighting the heart of every holiworker: 17 stylishly furnished rooms, a cool lounge, the creative ristorante Tremola, well-being in steam baths and water grotto and of course state-of-the-art work-spaces ideal for concentration & innovation.

COLETTA - eWorkers Paradise

Colletta di Castelbianco, nestled in the stunning Martime Alps can be deemed to be the "Mother of holiwork".
